About Us
Do you ever have a dream that seems a little crazy, but you just
can't let it go? Well, that's what happened to us. Back in 2015,
we dreamed up the ultimate pet paradise, but it took a whole
lot of blood, sweat, and tears to make it a reality. After three
years of planning, permits, and more than a few headaches,
we finally lifted our own house off its foundations and relocated
it smack dab on top of the new kennels.
Sure, there were some hiccups along the way. Budget overruns,
contractors who wished they'd never started the project, and
10 months of "glamping" with no power or flushing toilet.
But we powered through it all because we had a mission: to create
the perfect place for your furry friends to stay when you're not around.
We're Colin and Jody Richardson, proud owners of Odiez Kennels
since 2001. And, as you can probably tell, we're a little bit crazy
about our pets. That's why we built Cosy Paws V.I.P, a luxury pet
hotel where your fur-babies can enjoy all the comforts of home
(and more!).
Our building was designed with your pet's comfort and safety
in mind, from double fencing in the big dog areas to hand-crafted
designer beds. A massive heat pump for ultimate temperature
control, and inside-outside flow so your pet can enjoy the fresh air.
We even have TVs and security cameras in all the dog rooms!
Best of all, we're a small operation. With just 20 dog rooms and
10 cat suites, we can give each pet the individual love and attention
they deserve.
